The Research Facilities at PSIT Pharmacy, Kanpur provide advanced infrastructure to support pharmaceutical research, innovation, and practical learning. Equipped with modern instruments, specialized laboratories, and research resources, these facilities enable students and faculty to undertake high-quality academic and scientific research

Central Instrumentation Room

AICTE MODROB-funded facility equipped with advanced analytical instruments for pharmaceutical research and quality analysis.
Houses modern equipment including HPLC, FT-IR Spectrometer, UV-Visible Spectrophotometer, Calorimeter, pH Meter, and Magnetic Stirrer.
Maintains SOPs, instrument logbooks, and safety protocols to ensure accurate experimentation and quality research.

Machine Room

Well-equipped facility for pharmaceutical formulation development and manufacturing training.
Features equipment such as Capsule Filling Machine, Tablet Coating Machine, Ampoule Filling & Sealing Machine, Ball Mill, Tray Dryer, Sieve Shaker, and Bottle Filling Machine.
Supports practical learning with GMP-based practices, SOPs, and essential laboratory safety measures.

Animal House

CCSEA-registered Animal House (Registration No. 1273/PO/Re/S/09/CPCSEA) for educational and research activities.
Operates under the supervision of the Institutional Animal Ethics Committee (IAEC) following CPCSEA guidelines.
Well-equipped with dedicated rooms and controlled environmental conditions for the ethical care of laboratory animals.

Herbal Garden

Spread across 600 m² with 92 species of medicinal and aromatic plants.
Features QR-coded plants with botanical and vernacular names for interactive learning.
Supports pharmacognosy practicals, student research projects, herbal formulation studies, and biodiversity conservation.
